It is a fantastic example of Victorian craftsmanship. It is missing the top piece above the door. (See picture from the catalog) With the exception of the missing top piece, this clock is in beautiful shape. The finish is original. The entire remainder of the case is complete. The carving on the door and side pieces are all there and mirrored on the back of the sides of the case. The tail piece is beautifully carved. The dial is also original and in near perfect condition. It has a nickel benzel that is also in great condition. The pendulum stick and the nickel plated bob are original and in near perfect condition. The bob is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The label is still attached to the back. Some of it has warn away, but it is still legible. Complete and original, the time only movement is signed “Waterbury.” This clock is a must restore.
