Machine Age Art Deco Neon Glow Dial clock by Seabury Co. c. 1930's or 40's.The pics tell the story but heres what I can relate-Front of clock in very good original condition with exception of paint loss seen on numbers and there are some slight tweeked or out of flat areas surrounding the four glass "sockets" from those being bent from the inside ...presumably from the transformer coming loose.I have opened the back of clock and the glass socket things are not broken suprisingly but I can not guarentee in any event if they are good or not.The motor did run when I purchased years back but the cover of motor is banged up good as well and will need to be hammered into shape to fit back on.Has it's original transformer..now rebolted and secured but again cannot guarentee if it works as no way to test.Now onto the sides of the case-There are numerous wrinkles/dents around perimeter from presumably the transformer bounceing around...documented in photos.There is a large dent on bottom of case where it slid down a wall it was hung on and landed on a barbell so that it is now basically flat across that portion though this is not noticable form the front view as the pictures show.Also good rust spot(not deep)on top right of case with paint loss.Neon ring is broken. Otherwise it is as shown...a nice rare vintage Neon which displays nicely. A little TLC and you will have a show stopper. All paint is ORIGINAL...it is a nice deep Cobalt blue. Shipping will be by 1.
