The Lux Tape Measure Clocks which were manufactured in the late 1920’s  all the into the early 1950.  This one probably dates from the 1930’s and it is working and a reasonable timekeeper.  The tape measure time indicator dial is a unique clock for as it ticks the top turns.  As it turns, there is a small indicator, which points to the time,  Lux called it the “Time at a Glance” clock.  It winds at the bottom and it is a 30-hour timepiece.  The case is fitted with a wind up time only rotary movement and it is  5 inches in diameter and about  2 ¾ inches  high.  It is all-original and has a little rust and a few marks hear and there.  Also, there may be a washer missing on top but it does not impact the workings or esthetics of the clock.
