The underside of the clock has the movement casing and appears to be original and undisturbed..  It is marked "Le Coultre Co. SWISS."  The square base underside has other markings including "SWISS 475" and W436 923 13 248.  The Clock measures 7x7in. at the base, and about 4in. high.  I did not attempt to use any cleaner on it.  It works perfectly....
