This clock has the original Howard Miller decal on the back and impressed factory marks, model number 2214. Condition: This clock has the original wood finish and has not been touched. There are three very small indents to the wood face as shown in photo #5, barely noticeable. Also there appears to be a tooling mark from manufacture on the side of the body as shown in the last photo, it is barely noticeable and only mentioned for accuracy. The original hands are intact and in very good condition with minimal paint loss, along with the second hand which has some minor paint loss, please review photo #5 for details. The string on this clock appears to be old and does have one section missing, along with sagging and general wear. It appears someone may have put a dab of glue on the string at three of the tips. I would recommend restringing if you are looking for perfection. It appears that some of the rods are at various heights and is probably just part of the way it was manufactured, with the welds at the bottom ring, I am not going to try to adjust anything, I am leaving this clock as found. I only had it plugged in for a couple hours and it appeared to keep good time. Motor is original and runs quietly. The cord is original to this clock, winning bidder may want to have it rewired and and checked by an expert. I've only displayed without the cord so it hasn't been tested for long-term running.
