More photos below!         Details: C.1870, Gilbert Manufacturing Co., Winsted, Conn, "Octagon Drop Calendar" with patent Galusha Maranville dial. 8-day time, strike and calendar (with metal discs for month and day of the week). Good unrestored condition, some small veneer chips and paint loss to the dial and window. Label is about 60% "Manufactured for N. C. Hyde and Co." I could not get this clock working, but my experience is very limited. It measures 24" tall and has a 12" dial. The back is actually marked in pencil "Made in 1870 A.B."
