The sale did not go through, so here I am back again. In the original listing, a computer problem when I attempted to crop the pictures resulted in downsizing with great loss of resolution. This time I am using the raw images which hopefully will show more detail. I plan to take more pictures next week, so please get your requests in for anything you don't see or wish to see better. Please note that reflections from the mirror had a bad effect on some of the pictures. The clock has since been moved to a new location, so that will no longer be a problem. My original description follows: Here is a rare opportunity to acquire a large and impressive clock which has become a true collectors' item in a relatively short period. Made at the GAZO Family Clock Factory of San Diego, California, in 1978. Elegantly hand carved in solid oak with etched brass and porcelain dial, matching weights, brass grid and heavy cast and polished brass pendulum bob. Choice of Westminster, Whittington or Saint Michael's chimes with hour strike on nine polished brass tubes. Essentially a scaled-down reproduction of the E. Howard #79 tall clock, this example having imported German (Urgos) movement. 100" (8 feet, 4 inches) high, 28 1/4" wide and 20" deep. Beveled glass throughout, including sides. Finish, which is original, has acquired an outstanding depth of color and patina in its thirty years of existence. Outstanding condition inside and out, with new escape wheel and cables. Warning: crating an item of this size and weight can be VERY expensive, but I will research the cost if anyone needs this information.
