HOWARD STYLED BANJO CLOCKS OFFERED YEARS AGO. THIS CLOCK HAS A HERMLE QUARTZ MOVEMENT WITH AUTHENTIC SOUNDING WESTMINSTER CHIMES. THE CASE IS FINISHED  IN A DARK EBONY MAHOGANY. THE CASE IS ALL WOOD AND THE GLASSES ARE PAINTED, NOT DECALS. THE DIAL HAS BEEN PAINTED BY ME!!  THE STYLE IS IDENTICAL TO THE DIALS PAINTED ON E. HOWARD CLOCKS.  IF THE DIAL APPEARS TO BE BRIGHT WHITE IN A COUPLE OF THE PICTURES, IT IS NOT.   IT IS A NICE, EGG-SHELL TYPE TONE WITH SIMULATED AGING AREAS.  THE DIAL IS VERY PROFESSIONALLY DONE. THE DOOR OPENS THE FULL LENGTH OF THE CASE.  THE PENDULUM CAN BE SEEN AS IT SWINGS THROUGH THE BOTTOM GLASS. I'VE INCLUDED SEVERAL PICTURES THAT HAVE VARIOUS LIGHT EXPOSERS SO THE BEAUTIFUL CASE AND FINISH CAN BE EASILY SEEN.  FRIENDS, THIS IS A GREAT, GREAT CLOCK AND LOOKS AUTHENTIC TO THE OLD, ORIGINALS.  ACCESS TO THE MOVEMENT IS ACCESSED ON THE BACK OF THE CLOCK.  THERE IS A REMOVEABLE   DOOR ON THE BACK.  THIS HERMLE MOVEMENT TAKES TWO 'C' SIZE BATTERIES WHICH ARE INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE.  ALSO, THE CLOCK COMES WITH A REPLACEMENT 90 DAY WARRANTY.  AND, IF BY SOME RARE OCCURANCE YOUR CLOCK IS DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT,  WE SEND YOU ANOTHER CLOCK AND WE HANDLE THE DAMAGE CLAIM.  WE ARE VERY REPUTABLE MERCHANTS AND ARE CLOCK SPECIALISTS FOR OVER 30 YEARS.  YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!!    If you have never listened to one of these Hermle Quartz movements, you will think you are hearing the tubular type sounds from a very expensive mechanical movement.  We have several of these clocks in our home and I kid you not, you cannot determine the difference from an authentic chime rod tone.  It sounds that good!!!     Friends, the tone of these chimes on this clock sound exactly like authentic chime rods.  It is amazing.  You will think you are listening to a clock with tubular chimes or expensive chime rods.  There is absolutely no difference in the sound.   The German Hermle Quartz Movement offers you choice, volume control, and "night shut-off" of the chimes. Available chime selections are no chimes, Westminster Chimes, and Bim Bam Chimes. When Westminster Chimes are selected, you can choose to play the chimes every 15 minutes or only at the full hour. When Bim Bam Chimes are selected, you can choose to play the chimes every half hour or only at the full hour.
