Description
DANIEL RAY PARKER (1959 - ) Up for your bidding consideration is this exquisite and wonderfully modelled lost wax (cire perdue) bronze sculpture of a grizzly bear fishing for salmon in Alaska's McNeil river. The piece, entitled "McNeil River Diner" is a imited edition wildlife sculpture signed by American artist Daniel Ray Parker, a well listed and award winning animalier sculptor. His bronzes are in important collections around the world. The piece offered here is the water feature piece, however the piece can be ordered without a water feature. A pump in the bronze basin below the marble base pumps water that continuously courses down the waterfall. To hear the trickling water is very soothing indeed. The dimensions are 13 x 8 x 14, not including the height of the bronze water basin. It is from a small limited edition of only 49 strikes, many of which have already been sold. Please allow for a 7-9 week waiting period for casting on this particular piece. Regular gallery price is $4700.00, so nice savings can be had here on eBay. Please consult Askart, Davenport, Art Price, Prices4Antiques.com, and other sources for prices on Daniel Parker bronze sculptures sold at major auctions around the country. Your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back, no questions asked, on this museum quality bronze. Take a moment to visit http://www.parkerbronze.com to see more nice bronze wildlife sculptures.
