All of our sponges are freshly harvested from the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, just outside of Tarpon Springs, Florida.  Our sponges are the best in the world and the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs is reputed to be the worlds best location for natural sea sponges.  Thousands of tourists flock to our shops every day of the year just to purchase our fresh sponges. All of our sponges are processed immediately after they are harvested.  Golden yellow sponges are soft and perfect for bathing.  They are also gentle enough to bathe babies and small children.  The larger ones are excellent for window washing and even washing your car.   With care, these sponges will last you 5-7 years. If you are into arts and crafts, they are also great for faux painting,  pottery, and ceramics, although I just couldn't bear to put one of my precious sponges in paint!  They are also perfect for home decor!
