The clock has been professionally restored to excellent working and cosmetic condition. Collectors will want to add this model to their clock collection, as this is one of the most sought after first generation Allied Manufactured Kit Cat Clocks. This older style Kit Cat Clock has no upper paws and no bow tie. It is over 60 years old. It is Red in color. Clock design resembles Felix the Cat, the cartoon character. Clock body is made of Bakelite material and the back cover plate is made of Aluminum which is held on by screws. Clock overall has a very nice body. It is extremely clean, both internally & externally. The clocks animation works properly. The eyes move from side to side as the cats tail sways back and forth. The eyes and clock hands are luminous plastic. Just let the clock collect light throughout the day and watch as they glow in the dark. Clock movement has been properly cleaned and lubricated. Clock keeps accurate time. Power cord has been replaced with a new one. The clocks tail is a replica. It is made of aluminum, is painted to match the clock and is the same size and shape as an original tail for this particular model. There is a small piece of plastic missing from the bottom back edge and there is a small flaw located on the upper body to the left side of the numeral 10. Neither of these minor flaws detract from the clocks appearance, in my opinion. See close-up photos for details. Some matching color touch-up paint has been applied to the painted Smile/Whisker area of the face. There has also been some minor repairs to the eye pins. These repairs do not effect the clocks performance or value. The overall length with tail attached measures 15 1/4" by  4" wide. Back cover is engraved: Kit Cat Klock, Allied MFG. Co. Seattle, Wash. 115 Volts, 60 Cycles, 3 Watts, Model C2. Serial Number 3A84364. All pictures can be enlarged so please take the time to view them.
