You can bid with confidence.The Item: Here we present to you AN EXTRAORDINARY & VERY RARE  ORIGINAL FRENCH  " M A R T Y " 8 DAYS MOVEMENT M A N T E L   C L O C K WITH   SCULPTURES " L A D Y   W I T H   D O G " ART DÉCO FRANCE, 1925 THE  OUTSTANDING  MANTEL CLOCK WAS MANUFACTURED IN THE TIME ABOUT 1925 IN  FRANCE BY THE FAMOUS CLOCK MAKER "MARTY ." THE MANTEL CLOCK IS A BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION OF DARK BLACK ITALIAN  MARBLE  AND DIFFERENT COLORED AND PATTERNED ONYX. ON THE FRONTSIDE ARE TWO PATINATED METAL FITTINGS. THE RHOMBIC HINGED BEZEL OF THE GLASS FROM THE CLOCK FACE CONSISTS OF SILVERPLATED METAL. THE BLACK COLORED NUMBERS AND THE WATCH HANDS HAVE A WONDERFUL CONTRAST ON THE SILVER COLORED BACKGROUND OF THE DIAL. THE TWO FIGURES ARE MARVELLOUS CREATED OUT OF METAL. THE DOG IS BRONZE PATINATED. THE HANDS AND THE FACE OF THE LADY ARE FINE WORKED OUT OF IVORY. THE DRESS AND THE HAT ARE  BLACK COLORED WITH REPEATED GOLDEN PATTERN.  THE ORIGINAL FRENCH MOVEMENT IS MARKED BY THE FAMOUS  PARISIAN  CLOCK MAKER " MARTY ."  THE MECHANICAL 8 DAYS MOVEMENT IS TO WINDING  UPWITH THE AVAILABLE KEY ON THE FRONTSIDE.
